Racket Boys (라켓소년단): E01 & E02

✅Done with the first 2 episodes of Racket Boys.

It was fun, and so far I am enjoying the adrenaline rush brought about by the badminton competition that the racket boys are joining, but before I share my thoughts on the first 2 episodes let's get to know first the squad through this character card

The scribbles I have here are not that long [unlike with the hospital playlist] because the series and the episodes are pretty straightforward and as always

The things I've written here are not the entirety of the episode and, with that, there are things that I've missed on these notes and thoughts and,

Yoon Hyeon Jong got fired from his job as a coach so he decided to take the coaching offer in the countryside

Yoon Hae - Kang was currently a baseball player, but since they moved to the countryside he needs to let go of that and be on the racket boys team

For this one, he just joined the team because if he won his father will install a wi-fi... Yeah! it's for the WIFI not because he wanted to be a badminton (racket) player

The racket boys of Haenam So Middle School are lacking one member in the racket team so they are in the process of recruiting.

The dorm where the racket boys are residing closed down and because of that they are living with coach Yoon Hyeon Jong

We found out that Hae Kang was a "racket genius"

During the Haenam Sweet Potato Competition Hae Kang lost to an elementary student,

The 3 racket boys member Bang Yoon Dam, Na Woo Chan, and Lee Yong - Tae thought that because of it he [Hae Kang] will not join the Spring Competition. GOOD THING HE WAS A STUBBORN MAN WHO LOVES WINNING. So yeah, he was still part of the team.
While in the competition Hae Kang had a feisty encounter with Han Se - Yoon, and Han - Sol of Hae Nam Jeil Girl's Middle School.

After the competition we found out that RANOS was the mother of Hae - Kang and Yoon Hae - In.
Also, after the competition the girls [Han Se Yoon and Lee Han- Sol] together with Ranos - Ra Yeong Ja lived with them

The next episode (Ep 02] it's about the brotherhood of the racket boys.

During the Spring Competition, the racket boys had an encounter with their former teammate Jae Seok.
Jae Seok and Hae Kang Compete.

THOUGHTS:

The first two episodes episode were a blast!!

During the teaser, I thought that Hae Kang was a noob in badminton, but it turns out that he was a pro and a genius.

But the question is why he left BADMINTON and decided to be a baseball player?

I am excited to let that story unfold.

Aside from Hae Kang, Yoon Dam also caught my attention, he was the team captain and I wonder how he will deal with the stubbornness of Hae Kang and why Head Coach Bae said that Hae Kang will be Yoon - Dam's partner and rival.

Will they compete with each other in one tournament or will they be competing in a certain spot? We still don't know but I could feel the tension between the two.

Here's a thing on Episode 2:

There's a city couple, and I wonder why they are there? and TBH, I thought they will commit suicide but thank God it didn't happen, but I still wonder if they will be an antagonist? or support to the racket team.

Before I end this, I would like to write about the possible love line in this series. Though I know it won't be a big deal like in Weight Lifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo.
