WOMEN'S MONTH & K-Drama Female Characters That I Admired

March was declared as National Women's Month and on, March 8, 2021 we celebrated International Women's Day and, let me share with you, the K-Drama Female Characters I admired

1. Sung Bora of Reply 1988

Why I admire her character?

Her braveness and, the way she withstand against life's oddity is one thing I really appreciate on her character but, one striking thing about her also is how she fights for fairness. She is not afraid of anyone. She just do the thing, that she think is right.

In this world, we sometimes just ignore the things that hurts us.

Letting go is not a bad thing but, we need to stand up and fight. Especially if it already violates our human rights.

2. Chu Min- Ha of Hospital

 Why I admire her character?

Confidence, wit and intelligence defines Min-Ha but, in spite of those, I must say that she's not intimidating -  you could approach her easily and, be besties forever too! [plus point of course, if you are an army (BTS fans) and loves fashion]

Aside from the aforementioned, I think, Min -ha's character showed us how to value yourself as a woman and, don't let anyone lessen your worth.

3. Jang Gyeo Ul of Hospital Playlist

  Why I admire her character?

Cold and straightforward that will be your first impression but, getting to know her, you will see that she's nice! people just misinterprets her "tsundere" personality.

Moving on, what I like about the character is how flawed she is, and, how she strives to do her best in every situation

She experienced criticism because of her personality but, then, she takes it as a point of contemplation which leads her on becoming a much better person day by day.

I think, if we had that kind of mindset to decipher our actions before acting, we will become better everyday.

4. Lee Ik- Sun of Hospital Playlist

Why I admire her character?

Funny and, smart that is how I describe Ik-sun and, I really admire that personality of her but, then on the show it was narrated that she suffered from many things, starting from health (she has a liver problem before) and, how she was left by her fiancé (grrr!!).

In spite of those, she stands tall and, showed how resilient a woman can be.

5. Chae Song Hwa of Hospital Playlist

 Why I admire her character?

Charisma is synonymous to Song Hwa. I love how she deals with life in general but, most especially when it comes to self - care. ,

I wanted to emphasize the cliché you can't give what you don't have; sometimes, we want to take care of others but, how can we do it if  we are broken and needs a repair

I think we should ask our self the way Songhwa asked ikjun about what he done lately for himself?

6. Seo Dal Mi of Start - Up

Why I admire her character?

Go with the flow, that is how I describe the personality of Seo Dal Mi.

There are really times in our life that we really just need to go with the flow and, trust that everything happens for a reason.

You know the analysis - paralysis? it's about how, overthinking can lead you to nothing.

Dal Mi taught us to grab every opportunity , do your best in everything and let fate take care of the rest.

7. Seo In Jae of Start - Up

Why I admire her character?

Class and intelligence. that what makes In Jae's character unforgettable! I admire that in spite what her step - father had done. She proved that she was a big loss to him and, that she's more than capable and, could stand on her own feet.

8. Yoo Hye - Jung of The Doctors

 Why I admire her character?

You could say that her younger days  was sort of a mess! but then she doesn't let that past haunts her and not be able to move forward.

Hye - Jung taught us that the most important thing is the present! so if you feel like you can't be who you want to be because of your past, better put that off and, start not caring about what people would say. JUST CONTINUE DOING THE RIGHT THING!
